History
Over 30 years ago, BASE10 pioneered the implementation of microprocessor technology in military electronics. Today, as a systems house and prime contractor to the Department of Defense, BASE10 is building RoboScout, an unmanned military vehicle that will help our soldiers meet the new challenges of changing defense missions.

Performance – All-rounder for the customer
Since BASE 10 was founded over 40 years ago, we have evolved from a supplier of microprocessor technologies to a systems house for our customers in the NATO-wide defense market. This successful development can be attributed to our constant striving for the highest quality in harmony with efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Our customers appreciate our specification-compliant order processing and the delivery reliability of series products. This is where our focus on small batch sizes stands out. We thus act as a problem solver for our customers when they have been let down by the OEM. Many OEMs today focus only on standardized off-the-shelf solutions. The complex product requirements of our customers with the low quantities are therefore not economically interesting for the OEMs. BASE 10 takes care of exactly these cases in order to fulfill the requirements quickly, flexibly and efficiently.
Sustainability - repairing instead of disposing
Maintenance or repairs are often more economical than new purchases. Especially in control and power electronics, the assemblies are very cost-intensive. BASE 10 has the know-how and the technology to develop and manufacture exactly the right component for a sustainable and economical repair.

Quality management - Certified value proposition
In our market segments of aviation and security technology, there are increased requirements for product quality and compliance with legal regulations. Our quality management has been set up in accordance with the ISO 9001 : 2015 standard and supplemented with the requirements of EN 9100 : 2018 and the NATO-specific requirements of AQAP 2110. The requirements according to EN 9100 : 2018 of the aviation industry and the NATO-specific requirements of AQAP 2110, as requested by our clients, have thus been taken into account within our quality management system. BASE 10 was granted approval as an aviation operation for Bundeswehr aviation equipment under the number LufABw-LTB-023-16.
This quality management system also satisfies the requirements of the legislator in the context of CE marking.
The Quality Management Manual (QMHB) serves as a guideline for the continuous development of our management system, which meets the expectations of our customers as well as being of benefit to our own organization.
